I wanted to try this, but like others, I prefer not to have Stevia. Also not fond of "natural flavors" rather than being specific. Natural flavors can be anything.... Including insects which I hope wouldnt be the case, but bc of that fact I never buy stuff that lists that. Even beaver gland excretions have been used as a vanilla flavoring. True story. Sad, disgusting truth.

I like this seasoning very much. I like the little bit of sweetness added by the stevia; a taste with which I am familiar, having grown and used stevia from the garden in cooking. I realize the sweetness is not for everyone. So far, I have tried it in an omelette; sprinkled on roast beef; added to chili; in a black bean dish I make regularly; meatloaf. I am looking forward to watermelon season, because I like watermelon sprinkled with chili, lime, and salt. Like everything, seasonings are a matter of personal taste.
Thank you for sharing, Margaret! Watermelon—sprinkled with the Chili Lime—is a personal favorite. We can't wait for you to give it a try!
I love the chili lime seasoning. It goes great on baked chicken thighs, drumsticks, and wings. I tried it last night in some grass-fed ground beef, and it was terrific—one of my new favorite seasonings.
Thank you, Lesa! If you are feeling brave, you may need to try the Chili Lime on fresh cut watermelon—that combo is one of my personal favorites. Let us know what you think!
I want to give 5 stars for all things Redmond, however, seasonings do not need sweetener. I, as well as a lot of people, get physically sick when eating artificial sweeteners, natural or not.
Please consider making this without the stevia, you could sell both options.
Thank you for sharing your ideas, Melynda! We love hearing about new ways to improve our products!
I was skeptical as to how the chili lime would work as a steak seasoning, but holy smokes is it good. There is just enough sweetness to highlight the other spices, and the right amount of salt to bring it all together. For anyone cooking wild game, I recommend this seasoning ten times over!
Thank you for sharing your experience, Ryan!
