Smoked Real Salt Shaker / Limited Edition Apple Pecan (5.5 oz)
Very nice smoked salt. Lighter smoke flavor than the other three (which I love). I spent the weekend cooking different dishes with this salt. First, I was roasting chicken thighs for chicken bone broth. I added the Smoked Apple/Pecan Salt to two of the thighs for lunch (I do not add salt to my bone broths, then I know how much salt to add to recipes which use the bone broth). Very tasty on the roasted chicken. Later, I made a Beef'/Broccoli'/Onion with Cream Sauce over Orecchiette Pasta dish, topped with fresh chopped tomato. I added the Smoked Apple/Pecan Salt to the cream sauce: Beef Bone Broth; Rendered Beef Fat; Tapioca Flour; Half and Half; Grated Pecorino Romano Cheese; Grated Gruyere Cheese; Smoked Apple/Pecan Salt. Really brought out the flavors. Next came Salmon/Rock Fish Chowder. Very nice addition. Breakfast, Sunday: poached eggs with a mock Hollandaise Sauce made with the Smoked Apple/Pecan Salt. Lastly, today, I made a Salmon Salad over Fresh Avocado and Tomato tossed in a Smoked Apple/Pecan Salt-Malt Vinegar Dressing. Tasty. I definitely recommend this salt. I am buying a large refill-bag.
