Prickly Rock Steak Tacos

This recipe comes from our friends Madison and John Curly at Prickly Rock Livestock, a small family business specializing in holistic grass-fed beef and lamb. According to John, “Amazing meat needs amazing seasoning,” and he proves it by generously using Redmond Real Salt, Cherry Smoked Salt, and Real Salt Taco Seasoning on his steak. The results? Amazing! Instructions:

  1. Generously season both sides of the steak with Real Salt, Smoked Redmond Real Salt Cherry, black pepper, Redmond Real Salt Taco Seasoning, and garlic powder to taste. Drizzle with olive oil.
  2. Preheat your smoker to 400-425°F. Cook the steak to medium-well, flipping halfway through the cooking time.
  3. Allow the steak to rest before slicing it into thin pieces.
  4. Slice the steak and serve it in tacos with diced tomatoes, shredded lettuce, sliced avocado, and chopped red onion.
