Lemon Pepper Chicken Wings
This recipe is an easy, healthy, and flavorful way to enjoy chicken wings. Be the hostess with the mostest when you serve these wings at your next game day party!
Ingredients:
- 2 pounds chicken wings and drummettes
- 1 ½ teaspoons Real Salt Garlic Pepper Grinder
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 2 cups coconut oil
- 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
- 1 teaspoon chopped garlic
- ¼ cup chopped fresh parsley
- Juice from 1 whole lemon
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1 ½ teaspoons Real Salt Lemon Pepper Grinder
Preheat oven to 400°F. Thoroughly dry chicken wings and drummettes between paper towels. Place the wings in a large bowl, season with Real Salt Garlic Pepper Grinder. Drizzle olive oil on top and add cornstarch. Toss to mix.
Evenly space the chicken on a nonstick baking sheet. Bake chicken for 20 minutes. Flip and bake for an additional 15 minutes or until skin is golden brown and crisp.
Remove from oven and set aside.
In a saucepan, melt coconut oil (should be about 2 inches deep) Add chicken and fry until crispy (4-5 minutes). Transfer hot chicken to a large bowl.
In a small saucepan, melt butter. Add chopped garlic and sauté until golden brown. Add parsley, honey, lemon juice, and Real Salt Lemon Pepper
Bring sauce to a low boil over medium heat. Add lemon pepper sauce to wings and toss to coat.
