Grilled Salmon with Maple Cherry Pecan Sauce

Tired of the same old salmon recipes? Fire up your taste buds with a unique and mouth-watering blend of sweet and smoky flavors.


  • Salmon
  • Real Salt organic lemon pepper
  • 1 Tbsp butter
  • 1/2 cup cherries (pits removed)
  • 1/3 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/2 Tbsp chopped shallots
  • Pinch of crushed red pepper
  • 1/4 tsp Chefs Blend Real Salt Smoked Salt
  • Juice from 1/2 lime
  • 1/3 cup maple syrup

Season the salmon to taste with Real Salt organic lemon pepper. Grill the salmon, skin side up for 5 or 6 minutes, then flip and grill on the skin side for another 5 or 6 minutes until done.

To make the sauce, melt the butter on medium high heat. When butter is melted, reduce heat to medium and add the cherries, pecans, and shallots. Stir for 2-3 minutes. Add the crushed red pepper, smoked salt, lime juice, and maple syrup. Stir for another 1-2 minutes. Remove from heat and spoon on top of grilled salmon. Makes enough for 2 or 3 portions of fish.
