HSA/FSA accounts were created so you can use pre-tax dollars to pay for products and services that help treat, mitigate, or prevent a diagnosed medical condition. That means more purchasing power because you’re spending money before taxes are taken out, saving you up to 30%.
For 2024, individuals can contribute up to $4,150 to an HSA or $8,300 for a family. You can contribute up to $3,200 pretax to a FSA per year, plus up to $500 more if your employer chips in.

What is a Letter of Medical Necessity, and how does it make this compliant?+
A Letter of Medical Necessity (LMN) is a document from a licensed provider that confirms that a product like Re-Lyte is being used to treat or prevent a specific medical condition. With an LMN, your purchase qualifies as a medical expense under IRS guidelines.
There are thousands of studies showing food and exercise are often the best medicine to prevent and reverse disease. Exercise qualifies as a qualified medical expense with an LMN. Your Truemed LMN satisfies all IRS requirements to make your wellness purchase fully reimbursable.
