Smoked Real Salt® / Chef's Blend (14 oz.)

If you like to stack your smoky flavors, our Chef’s Blend Smoked Real Salt is for you. To create our Chef’s Blend, we smoked unrefined, ancient Real Salt (aka “Nature’s First Sea Salt®”) for 42 hours using five different types of wood (our own Chef Shawn’s secret recipe). Chef’s Blend has a well-rounded flavor that’s plenty strong, but not as intense as Hickory. It is delicious on anything—asparagus, eggs, your favorite protein, and everything in between. (We haven’t tried it on ice cream yet, but you could!)

Redmond Smoked Salt Rocks!

I recently discovered the power of salt in my diet. I met the Redmond team at Idaho Homesteader conference. The team shared the benefits and high quality of the salts!! I bought a few things and the smoked salt is a favorite for all my friends and family! Not too strong but still a nice smooth smoky taste!

I love it I used it on my eggs and it adds a unite flavor I love it on my chicken and steak also My son tried it on his veggies He said it was great. I will order more.

WHAT MAKES SMOKED REAL SALT UNIQUE?

Real Salt.

Our unrefined, ancient sea salt is a healthier option than the processed salt used in other smoked salts. It doesn’t contain any additives and hasn’t been stripped of beneficial minerals.

An All-Wood Smoking Process.

We only use wood during our smoking process. That’s much cleaner and healthier than using wood and a fuel source like gas to keep the fire going like some other brands do.

Sustainably Sourced Wood.

Any trees that are removed for smoking are replaced for future regrowth, so the process is sustainable.

Smoked Real Salt Flavors

Hickory:

Smoked with hickory wood for 30 hours, it has a strong smoky flavor that’s a little sweet and a little savory.

Cherry:

Smoked with cherry wood for 30 hours, it’s smoky, smooth, and slightly fruity.

Chef’s Blend:

Smoked using 5 different types of wood for 42 hours, it’s darker in color and more robust in flavor with hints of espresso and cocoa.
